講演者略歴
Daniel Packwood obtained a PhD in chemical physics from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand in 2010. From 2010 – 2012 he was a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University, and from 2012 – 2016 he was an Assistant Professor in the Mathematical Sciences Group at the Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University. Since 2016, he has been a Senior Lecturer and Principal Investigator at the Institute for Integrated Cell Materials Sciences (iCeMS) at Kyoto University. His research focuses on structure prediction for nanomaterials, using a combination of data science and physics-based computational methods.
